Plant-a-Thons
Celebrating this spring’s Plant-a-Thon: April 25 - 27
This year our members fostered native plants in their communities by sowing seeds and weeding. Each of our members in Southern California received seeds for the native white yarrow flower to plant in their garden or local community space. In addition, we participated in the Arroyos & Foothills Conservancy’s habitat restoration day in Cottonwood Canyon by weeding non-native plants like oats and mustard plants.
We are proud of the difference each of our members makes in their communities, and glad to showcase their efforts at this year’s Plant-a-Thon.
Join us as we make our community environments stronger together!
