2026 Plant-A-Thon is May 15 - 17

Call-to-action for Vera members and our community friends!

Grab your planting gear and get involved in promoting native plantlife in your community this spring by participating in Vera’s third annual-Plant-a-Thon.

Members will receive a seed packet in the mail to plant in their home or community garden. Optionally, find a local plant nursery or preserve where you can volunteer*.

Our goal is to have as many members and community friends as possible plant one plant over the weekend of May 15 - 17. Don’t forget to snap a photo and send it to us so that we can share member experiences from this day.

Let’s make our community environment stronger together!

*Members living in the Los Angeles area can volunteer with our partner Arroyos & Foothills Conservancy in their monthly Habitat Restoration event also happening on Saturday, May 16 from 9am – 11pm. Contact as at info@verasociety.org for more details on this activity.
